I’m in Philadelphia for a couple of days with the women in my family.
It’s a busy, fun Friday with my sisters, nieces, and mom today. Four generations to be exact – my mom, the matriarch of the family down to the newest member, my grand niece, 3-month-old Finely and sisters and nieces in between. A day of constant talking, coffee, good walks, food, wine, and love . . . girl time!
So this will be a fast post but I couldn’t let Friday go by without my Friday favorites!
It seems like an easy thing to find, right?! But white t-shirts are not like their darker counterparts. It’s hard to find a white t-shirt that isn’t too transparent or clingy. I don’t need my bra to show through my shirt and I definitely don’t need it clinging to my little tummy roll – we all have one, don’t worry. Dark t-shirts are more forgiving, white not so much. A good white t-shirt should be a staple in one’s wardrobe. If you find a good one, you will wear it all the time!!
I found one!! This shirt from Nordstrom is the perfect cut, length, and fabric and I love the rounded v-neck! BTW, it runs true to size.

Opi Magala Wine Nail Color
I tend to go natural or a very pale shade of pink on my nails in the warm weather. And in the winter I like to go dark . . . OPI Lincoln Park After Dark are my two favorites.
Opi Magala Wine is the perfect transition shade for the in between! Change is a good thing.

Who doesn’t like seeing those words on their board pass! No long lines, no taking shoes off, and no unpacking computer or electronics. We signed up for Global Entry this past year and TSA Pre is the best perk!
5 Second Rule book
5 seconds can change your life! So often we let our own thoughts stop us from taking action. It can be as simple as working out or eating healthy to something bigger like moving forward with work . . . we are sometimes our worst enemies. I love her simple idea of counting backward! This is a great book!
I listened to a podcast with Mel Robbins (the author) on a walk this week and immediately went home and downloaded the book on my Kindle. It’s a great read and such a simple brilliant concept!

Life In Pieces
There are so many show on tv, netflix and amazon prime that it’s almost overwheming. I rely on recommendations from friends for new and good shows. This show is so funny and so relatable!
My brother in law told me about it and I just finished binging seaon 1 on Netflix. It’s a comedy that follows an extended family – grandparents, their 3 grown kids and their families. Each episode is broken into four short segments/stories that highlight different family members. It’s one of those laugh out loud shows!
Season 1 is on Netflix and a new season is starting on CBS this fall!
That’s my friday favorites! Have a happy weekend!!
