It’s no surprise I love jeans . . . . boyfriend (or actually the ex-boyfriend is my new fav), skinny, ankle, cropped, dark wash, distressed, black, white and NOW gray! Scroll down to see the jeans in my closet.
Yup, I decided to purchase a gray pair of jeans. I’ve been seeing them in the stores the last couple of months and been debating, I finally decided why not!
Back in August, I bought a camo pair of mid-rise rockstar jeans from Old Navy. I have ended up loving them, they are super comfortable, fit perfectly plus it’s nice to wear something other than denim blue all the time. The price along with everything else was right so I decided to try the same style in the gray.
Here’s the thing, I don’t mind spending money on a classic pair of jeans that fits perfect and I know will last for years but for trendy style denim, I don’t want to spend a lot. Who knows the distressed look could be completely gone next year!
I’m not sure how much I will wear these but I have to say after one day wearing them, I could actually see wearing them more than I initially thought. I love how comfortable they are and they fit very true to size!

These are a little more distressed than some of my other jeans which I think makes them super casual. I love how they look with sneakers and a t-shirt and I grabbed my blazer as I left the house because it was still a little cool outside and I will always love that “pretty woman” look of blazer and t-shirt. You know that epic ending when Richard Gere sweeps Julia Roberts off the fire escape in Pretty Woman and she is wearing jeans, a white t, and a blazer. I think these will also look great with a sweatshirt or cardigan, long sleeve t-shirt, and booties.
There are so many jean styles that there is something for everyone. When I was growing up jeans were stiff and uncomfortable, today jeans can be so comfortable it’s like wearing leggings. Plus there is a style for everyone, it’s just that there are so many choices and price points it can feel daunting.
