How many pairs of jeans do you have in your closet? Boyfriend, skinny, dark wash, distressed, faded, cropped, black denim, white denim but do you have a pair of season-themed color denim?
Colored denim is a great way to switch things up plus it’s always fun to add color into the mix! And you will find you will get compliments for showing up in something other than, well, jeans.
These red (I actually think they are more burgundy color) jeans from Articles of Society are great for fall and holidays and they also come in green . . . how perfect is that! I love this brand of jeans, they are stretchy and comfortable, true to size and the price point is great at $60.00!
Here are just a few ways on how to wear colored denim but really the possibilities are endless.
Business Casual Look
The advantage of muted colored jeans is they don’t necessarily look like jeans so adding a colored pair to the mix means you can get away with wearing “jeans” to more places where the standard type of jeans might be frowned upon.
You can pair them with a silky button-down and ankle boots. Add a blazer for an additional layer or for an even more polished look. You can do a simple pump or flat as well.
Jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers are sort of my uniform on the weekends. So adding in color is so much fun! Throw on a lightweight scarf with a t-shirt and you all of a sudden have a feeling of elegance.
I am not a fan of denim on denim . . . no jean jacket and jeans for me but with colored jeans, you can easily add a denim jacket and it looks super cute. As it gets cooler outside I would add a navy, black or gray sweater or black or navy puffer vest with a long sleeve t-shirt.
