It’s race week!! After months and weeks of training the New York Marathon is only days away! So this Southern California girl who is cold when the temps drop under 65 degrees has started to pull out clothes to pack for New York which means some sweaters! I actually do wear sweaters here in Los Angeles because like I said I think it’s cold when it’s 65 outside but I tend to wear more cardigans and lighter weight pullovers. Layering is the key and you want to find a good sweater or two for fall and into winter.
I tend to go for neutral colors like black, tan, cream or navy so that I can wear them with pretty much any outfit but it’s also fun to have a few bright colors or pattern sweaters in your closet. Last year, I bought a bright pink fuchsia colored v-neck that I loved to add a pop of color on the weekend. I bought this polka dot cardigan last spring and I love how whimsical it is with the polka dots and it’s super soft and cozy. I always get compliments on it and it’s only $23.00!
Here are my favorite sweater picks all under $50! I like sweaters that are a little longer so you can tuck them in or wear them loose when you are leggings or skinny jeans. And almost all of these sweaters are also available in other colors so you can stick to the neutrals or easily add a pop of color into your wardrobe.
