Anti-aging, reduce fine lines, get that youthful look again . . . we all want to believe in the claims that so many skin care products make and I think many of the products work but it takes time and consistency. A little over a year ago I made the commitment to take care of my skin – to not skip that nighttime routine when all I want to do is to climb into bed, to wear sunscreen every day even when it’s cloudy outside and most important to be consistent. I decided to try out products that didn’t cost a fortune because I really believe good skin shouldn’t have to cost a fortune. Not every product I tried I liked, there were and still are nights I jump into bed without washing my face because just the thought sounds exhausting but overall I have been way more consistent than ever before and here’s the best part other people are noticing!
A friend stopped my mid-conversation to tell me I had no wrinkles around my mouth, another asked me what I was doing because my skin looked so much brighter and just today the woman doing my brows commented that my skin was glowing. And bonus I went through my routine with my dermatologist and she approved!
I still have wrinkles but there is definitely a reduction in my fine lines and an overall softening of my complexion. I have found what works for me for now and I am sticking with it. I just reordered my favorites and thought I would share the three products that have been game-changers!
Seoul Ceuticals Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid: Vitamin C helps fade sun spots and brighten your complexion and Ferulic Acid helps shrink pores and prevent breakouts.
HADA LABO Skin Plumping Gel: This is my FAVORITE!! This Gel Cream combines the skin perfecting power of anti-aging serum and the intense hydration of a moisturizer. It has a high concentration of Super Hyaluronic Acid which helps to plump fine lines and wrinkles. You just use a pea size and pat on your skin. I use this in the morning and evening after the Vitamin C serum.
Retinol Cream: I use this as my moisturizer in morning and night – it’s the maximum prescription strength retinol without flaking, peeling or dry skin. It produces visible changes with fine lines and wrinkles. I love it! You must wear sunscreen every day when using Retinol Cream which we all should be doing because sunscreen really is the BEST for anti-aging. 🙂 I use EltaMD facial tinted sunscreen if you are looking for a good one. And just FYI I use CeraVe Hydrating Face Wash.
